Italian-type, slender, dark purple fruits are best used before reaching 8-10” long. Each 24-30” tall plant produces 4 or more eggplants. Harvest 70-80 days after transplaniting. Start indoors in a warm, well-lighted are 8-10 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds in seed starting formula in individual containers. Sow ¼” deep, firm ightly and keep evenly moist. Seedlings emerge in 10-21 days. Before transplanting, move to a sheltered area outside for a week.
